IT IS OK

To not always be happy,
life is so much more than happy;
you do not owe people happy

It is ok

To not have the energy
to even reply to their ‘I love yous’;
they did not send those words for them

It is ok

To be sad and scared,
angry, confused and broken-down;
you are not a bad person

You are worthy of love and attention
No matter what or how you feel about yourself
your body, your mind, anything.

It’s ok to not be ok.
